Zovirax Cream Tube

Zovirax 50 mg/g Cream Tube, is indicated for the treatment of herpes virus infections on the lips and face. Zovirax cream is a medicine for the treatment of recurrent cold sores, which are caused by the herpes simplex virus.

How to Use

Adults and children aged 12 years and over: Apply Zovirax Cream 5 times a day for 4 days. If the lesion has not healed after this time, treatment can be continued for a further 6 days. If complete healing does not occur after 10 days, or if the lesion becomes very serious, you should consult your doctor.

Non-prescription medicine. ZOVIRAX (aciclovir) Cream 50 mg/g, non-prescription medicine. Indicated for the treatment of herpes simplex virus infections on the lips and face (recurrent cold sores). Do not apply to mucous membranes (oral cavity, eyes) and should not be used to treat genital herpes. Avoid accidental introduction into the eyes. Patients with very severe recurrent cold sores should consult a doctor. Zovirax cream is not recommended for severely immunocompromised patients. Contains cetostearyl alcohol, which may cause local skin reactions (e.g. contact dermatitis). Contains propylene glycol (E1520), which may cause skin irritation, and sodium lauryl sulphate, which may cause local skin reactions (such as stinging or burning sensation) or increase skin reactions caused by other products when applied to the same area.
