Vibrocil contains a nasal decongestant (phenylephrine) and an antihistamine (dimethindene maleate) as active ingredients. Effective in treating nasal congestion and runny nose, with antihistamine action. Indicated for when you have a blocked nose and runny nose, associated with allergy symptoms.
How to Use
Children aged 6 to 12 years: 3 to 4 drops in each nostril, 3 to 4 times a day, under adult supervision.
Adolescents over 12 years of age and adults: 3 to 4 drops in each nostril, 3 to 4 times a day.
- Tilting your head back while sitting or standing.
- If you are lying down, tilt your head to the side.
- Apply the drops into each nostril and keep your head tilted back for a few minutes to allow the medicine to spread throughout your nose.
Non-prescription medicine. Read the information in the package leaflet carefully. Vibrocil nasal drops are not recommended for children under 1 year of age. Vibrocil nasal drops should be administered under adult supervision to children aged 1 to 12 years. Vibrocil should not be used during pregnancy and breast-feeding. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you suffer from any of the following medical conditions: heart disease, high blood pressure, thyroid disease, diabetes, benign prostatic hypertrophy, epilepsy. It is contraindicated in patients with narrow-angle glaucoma, atrophic rhinitis and patients being treated or who have taken MAO inhibitors in the last 14 days.
