Verrufilm Solution 10 ml

Verrufilm® is a cutaneous solution for external use that contains salicylic acid as an active substance. Verrufilm® is indicated for all types of warts, commonly known as blackheads, such as common warts, flat warts, juvenile warts and plantar warts (papillomas). Verrufilm® is also indicated for calluses and corns on the skin.

How to Use

Do not use Verrufilm if you are allergic to salicylic acid or any other component of the medicine, if you are diabetic or have circulatory disorders, in children under 2 years of age, in warts on the face, warts with hair, or in the anogenital region, in skin spots or congenital moles.

Verrufilm is intended for external use only. The bottle has an applicator attached to the cap, which allows, on the one hand, to produce small drops and, on the other, an extremely easy and precise application.

Before application, you should soak the affected area in hot water for about 5 minutes and wipe it with a towel. Apply Verrufilm exclusively to the center of the affected area, taking care not to let the product come into contact with the surrounding healthy skin (if necessary, you can apply a little greasy cream to the skin around the area to be treated, thus protecting it from possible contact with the product).

• Apply 1 or 2 drops to the affected area and let it air dry for a few minutes until a flexible layer forms.
• Then cover the treated area with roller adhesive and leave to act for 24 hours, avoiding contact with water.
• After 24 hours, remove the patch, wash with hot water to remove the Verrufilm film, and then carefully scrape the treated area with an abrasive suitable for skin (pumice stone or skin file).
• Repeat the treatment every day until the wart or callus has completely disappeared, which in the case of warts may take a relatively long time (6 to 12 weeks). However, if the skin becomes irritated, stop applying it for two or three days until the inflammation disappears.
