Tedol 20mg/ml Ketoconazole Shampoo

Tedol shampoo is a medicine for the treatment and prevention of fungal or yeast skin infections. Both the scalp and large areas of the chest or face can be treated with the shampoo.

This medicine is intended for various skin infections, which can be recognized by:

• films on the scalp (dandruff);
• brown and reddish patches with white or yellowish scaling, usually on the face or chest (seborrheic dermatitis)
• small, irregular, white or brownish spots on the trunk (pityriasis versicolor).

With Tedol you can treat and prevent these infections.

How to Use

• Treatment
  • Pityriasis versicolor:
    Use Tedol once a day for 5 days. Wash the affected areas of the skin with Tedol, leave to act for 5 minutes and rinse. If the situation does not improve within two weeks, the treatment should be reassessed.
  • Seborrheic dermatitis and dandruff:
    Use Tedol twice a week for 2-4 weeks. If there is no clinical improvement after 4 weeks, the diagnosis should be re-evaluated.
• Prophylaxis
  • Pityriasis versicolor:
    Use once a day for 3 days, in a single treatment.
  • Seborrheic dermatitis and dandruff:
    Use once a week.
• Recommended only for ages 2 and up.
• Not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women without medical advice.

Do not store above 25°C. Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children. Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the label and carton after “EXP”. The expiry date refers to the last day of that month. Do not throw away any medicines via wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to throw away medicines you no longer use.
