How to Use
Take the recommended amount, preferably before meals, as recommended by your doctor or pharmacist.
Non-prescription medicine. Prolif® 250mg capsules contain 250 mg of lyophilized Saccharomyces boulardii and are indicated in adults and children over 6 years of age for the treatment of symptoms of acute diarrhoea and prevention of diarrhoea associated with antibiotic use. It is contraindicated in patients with an allergy to yeast, Saccharomyces boulardii or any other component, in patients with a central venous catheter, immunocompromised or with a serious illness due to a risk of fungaemia, or who are hospitalised. Caution is required if diarrhoea lasts for more than 2 days, if blood appears in the stool, if you have a fever, if you feel excessive thirst, dry tongue or if you have a weakened immune system.
