Meritene Clinical Diabet is a food for special medical purposes. It is a complete special polymeric formula for diabetes, normocaloric, high-protein, with fiber, and a low glycemic index. Energy concentration: 1 kcal/ml
One bottle (200ml) of Meritene Clinical Diabet provides:
- 200kcal;
- 5.4g of lipids;
- 21.8g of carbohydrates;
- 4g of fiber;
- 14g of protein.
Clinically lactose-free. Gluten-free. With sweeteners. Suitable as a sole source of nutrition. Recommended only for individuals over three years of age. Use under medical supervision.
For the nutritional management of patients with increased protein needs and conditions leading to malnutrition or risk of malnutrition, such as patients with type 1 or type 2 diabetes or glucose intolerance, and/or with problems associated with intake, absorption, or malnutrition, in cases of:
- Anorexia, insufficient intake;
- Pressure ulcers;
- Hip fracture;
- Dementia;
- Oncological disease;
- Frailty;
- Protein needs;
- Difficulty swallowing and/or chewing.
How to Use
- As an exclusive diet: Depending on the patient's nutritional needs, according to medical advice.
- As a complementary diet: 1-3 packs/day.
- Ready to use orally or via tube.
- Do not administer intravenously.
- UHT solution. Packaged in a protective atmosphere.
- It is recommended to consume cold.
- Store in a cool, dry place.
- Once opened, store at room temperature for a maximum of 6 hours and up to 24 hours in the refrigerator.
