Mucosolvan Syrup 200ml

Mucosolvan is indicated as a mucolytic adjuvant in the antibacterial treatment of respiratory infections in the presence of bronchial hypersecretion. It is indicated for adults and children. The active substance in Mucosolvan, ambroxol hydrochloride, increases secretion in the respiratory tract. It increases the production of pulmonary surfactant and stimulates ciliary activity. These actions result in improved mucus flow and transport (mucociliary clearance). By stimulating fluid secretion and mucociliary clearance, it facilitates expectoration and coughing. In patients with sore throat, pain and redness were significantly reduced.

How to Use

• The recommended dosage for adults and children over 12 years of age is 10 ml, twice a day. This regimen is appropriate for the treatment of acute respiratory tract disorders and for the initial treatment of chronic conditions for up to 14 days.
• The recommended dosage for children aged 6 to 12 is 5 ml, 2-3 times a day. For children aged 2 to 5 years, it is 2.5 ml, 3 times a day and for children up to 2 years, 2.5 ml, 2 times a day. These doses are intended for initial treatment and can be reduced by half after 14 days.
