Imodium Plus 12 tablets

IMODIUM ^® tablets Plus, in addition to providing relief from diarrhea, they also soothe the symptoms of painful cramps, uncomfortable abdominal distension and gas. IMODIUM ^® Plus works with your body to restore natural balance to your digestion. May reduce diarrhea after the first dose*.

Designed to relieve acute, short-term episodes of diarrhea, the tablets contain an additional substance called simethicone, which helps to reduce excess gas in the intestine and relieve cramping.

Treatment with IMODIUM ^® Plus is symptomatic only. If any aetiology is determined, appropriate treatment should be given. In the absence of clinical improvement within 48 hours, administration should be discontinued. Patients should be advised to consult their physician.

How to Use

Adults over 18 years of age:

• Take two tablets initially, followed by one tablet after each diarrheal bowel movement.
• No more than 4 tablets should be taken per day and treatment should be limited to a maximum of 2 days.

Teenagers between 12 and 18 years of age:

• Take one tablet initially, followed by one tablet after each diarrheal bowel movement. No more than 4 tablets should be taken per day and treatment should be limited to a maximum of 2 days.
