The simultaneous use of latex condoms or vaginal ovules with vaginal antimicrobial preparations may decrease the effectiveness of latex contraceptive agents. Patients using spermicides should consult their doctor, since any vaginal treatment may inactivate spermicides.

How to Use

The recommended dose is:

• Women

Vaginal cream: Apply a thin layer of cream to the vulvar and anal areas once a day at night for 3 consecutive days.

150 mg ovules: Insert one ovule as deep as possible into the vagina every day at night for 3 consecutive days. The best position to do this is reclining.

• Men

Cream: Wash and dry the penis, apply the cream to the glans and foreskin, once a day, for 14 consecutive days.

Gyno-Pevaryl Combipack (10 mg/g) + (150 mg) vaginal cream + ovules. Contains econazole nitrate. Treatment of vulvovaginal mycoses and mycotic balanitis.
