Dulcolax Laxative Tablets

Dulcolax® Tablets are a stimulant laxative for the predictable and effective relief of occasional constipation, working within 6 to 12 hours of taking. The active ingredient, bisacodyl, stimulates the muscles in the intestinal wall and helps to soften the stool, facilitating evacuation. Dulcolax works only in the colon, where it is needed.

• Dulcolax can be used in cases of constipation or in the preparation of diagnostic aids, in pre- and post-operative treatment and whenever facilitation of evacuation is required.
• The tablets are easy to swallow and work only where needed, in the colon, for predictable relief. Morning relief is synchronized with your body clock, in harmony with your body.
• The active ingredient in Dulcolax® film-coated tablets is released only where it is needed. You should not take Dulcolax® with acid reducers, which include antacids and dairy products.

How to Use

• Adults and children over 10 years: 1 to 2 tablets per day
• Children aged 6 to 10 years: 1 tablet per day (do not take Dulcolax without first consulting a doctor)
• Can be taken while breastfeeding

Dulcolax (bisacodyl) for constipation. It should not be taken daily for long periods. Prolonged and excessive use may cause electrolyte imbalance and hypokalaemia.
