Betadine® Vaginal Solution is a non-irritating aqueous solution for vaginal irrigations with 10% povidone-iodine.

It is an effective product as a complement in the treatment of vaginal infections. Due to its antiseptic action, it eliminates the microorganisms responsible for vaginal infections (bacteria, viruses, fungi and protozoa).

How to Use

This medication is intended for vaginal use.

Adults and elderly: Apply once a day, preferably in the morning, for a period of 14 days (including days of menstrual flow).

Pour Betadine® Vaginal Solution into the applicator up to the bottom line. Top up with warm water up to the top line. Screw the cannula onto the applicator and shake. Irrigate your vagina (you can do this while lying down in the bath, standing up in the shower or sitting on the bidet. Relaxation helps improve irrigation):

  • Slowly insert the cannula into the vagina
  • Press the applicator lightly so that the irrigation process takes place slowly.
  • Hold the solution for a few seconds
  • Remove the applicator and if there is still a lot of liquid left, repeat the operation.
