Bekunis 5 mg Coated Tablets is an over-the-counter medicine (MNSRM), belonging to the pharmacotherapeutic class of contact laxatives and is indicated for the treatment of simple constipation and intestinal atony. Indicated for the treatment of occasional/acute constipation or as preparation for endoscopic or radiological examinations of the large intestine, it ensures the proper functioning of the digestive system and prevents sluggish bowels.
The coated tablet presentation is practical and convenient, easy to take, and highly effective and fast-acting. Bisacodyl is a stimulant laxative that stimulates intestinal peristalsis, causing evacuation within 6-8 hours after taking.
Taking Bekunis coated tablets produces a punctual laxative action and induces the normalisation of defecation frequency.
How to Use
Administer 1 or 2 tablets, preferably at bedtime. Antacids should be taken 1 hour before or 1 hour after. Take with plenty of water.

Swallow whole, without chewing, breaking, or sucking. Not recommended for allergies to any constituent. Do not take with milk or its derivatives. Do not use for prolonged periods.
