Aspegic® has been effectively treating pain and fever for generations. Aspegic® 1000 is an analgesic, antipyretic, high-dose anti-inflammatory and antiplatelet agent, and is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of fever and/or mild to moderate pain in adults and adolescents aged 16 to 65 years. In particular, in the following situations:
- Headache
- Toothache
- Mild to moderate muscle pain
- Lower back pain
- Short-term fever (less than 3 days)
How to use
The recommended dosage is 1 sachet 3 times a day, with a minimum interval of 4 to 6 hours between each dose. The maximum daily dose should not exceed 3 sachets. Do not use for more than three days (in cases of fever) and no more than 3 to 4 days (in cases of pain), unless expressly indicated by your doctor.
- Pour the contents of the sachet into a glass of water, sugared or not, fruit juice or milk.
- Shake.
- Dissolution is rapid and complete.
- Doses should be spread throughout the day (morning, afternoon and evening).
Aspegic®1000 (Lysine acetylsalicylate) for the symptomatic treatment of fever and/or mild to moderate pain in adults and adolescents aged 16-65 years. Dosage: Adults and adolescents (16-65 years): 1 sachet 3x/day - minimum interval of 4-6 h between each dose. The maximum daily dose should not exceed 3 sachets. Maximum duration of treatment: 3 days (fever), 3 to 4 days (pain). Should not be administered to children <16 years of age, unless prescribed and under close medical supervision (possibility of Reye's syndrome occurring). Method of administration: Pour the contents of the sachet into a glass of water, with or without sugar, fruit juice or milk and shake. Do not drink alcoholic beverages during treatment. Contraindications: allergy to acetylsalicylic acid or any of the excipients, or to another non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAIDs) (cross-reaction); patients with pre-existing mastocytosis in whom the use of acetylsalicylic acid may lead to severe hypersensitivity reactions (including circulatory shock with flushing, hypotension, tachycardia and vomiting); history of asthma; third trimester of pregnancy (beyond 24 weeks of gestation); active peptic ulcer; any constitutional or acquired bleeding disease, bleeding risk; severe hepatic insufficiency; severe renal insufficiency (CrCL < 30 ml/min); severe uncontrolled heart failure; concomitant administration with methotrexate used at doses > 15 mg/week; concomitant administration of anticoagulants and in patients with a history of gastroduodenal ulcers; lesions in the stomach wall or in the first part of the intestine (active, chronic or recurrent gastrointestinal ulcers), bleeding or perforation of the stomach in the past, after treatment with acetylsalicylic acid or other medicines called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). Precaution: patients with rare hereditary problems of galactose intolerance, lactase deficiency or glucose-galactose malabsorption (contains lactose).
