Agiolax is a laxative and is indicated for occasional constipation (infrequent defecation with hard stools).
How to Use
- Agiolax should be placed on the tongue and, without chewing or crushing, swallowed with plenty of water or a warm drink (approximately 1-2 glasses with each teaspoonful). Drink about 5-10 glasses of liquid every day while taking this medicine.
- The usual dose for adults, the elderly and children over 12 years of age is one or two full teaspoons/sachets after dinner and, if necessary, before breakfast.
- Agiolax is not recommended for children under 12 years of age.
Do not take Agiolax: if you are allergic to the active substances or any of the other ingredients of this medicine, if you have a blocked intestine (intestinal obstruction), if you suffer from any intestinal disease such as ulcerative colitis, if you have severe dehydration with loss of water and electrolytes, if you are pregnant or breast-feeding.
