Melilax Pediatric is indicated for the treatment of constipation in children and infants, even in the presence of visceral hypersensitivity (such as irritable bowel syndrome), anal fissures and hemorrhoids. The product frees the intestine, has a protective action and, consequently, reduces the sensation of discomfort, irritation and inflammation present in cases of constipation.
How to Use
- Children between 0 and 1 year old: half a 5 g micro-enema as needed.
- Children between 1 and 3 years old: 1 micro-enema of 5 g as needed.
- Children between 3 and 12 years old: 1 micro-enema of 5 g as needed. In case of severe constipation, apply 2 doses simultaneously.
- Apply the product to the baby or child's perianal area and gently insert the cannula into the rectum.
- Press the microenema all the way down and, at the end of the application, keep it pressed until the cannula is completely removed to prevent the product from being sucked in again.
Do not use if there is hypersensitivity or individual allergy to one or more components. In the event of persistent constipation, it is important to consult a doctor to rule out other pathologies. The microclyster is for single use only, so it should not be reused if a half dose is administered, as in the case of infants.
