How to Use
Adults and children over 12 years of age: take 1 or 2 tablets, 1 to 3 times a day. Do not exceed the maximum daily dose of 6 tablets (1200 mg).
It should preferably be taken after meals.
For menstrual pain, at the first signs of pain, it is advisable to start treatment with 2 tablets.
TRIFENE 200 ® , a non-prescription medicine, contains 200 mg of ibuprofen, indicated for a short period of time for headache, toothache, pain associated with the menstrual period, mild to moderate muscle pain, post-traumatic pain and fever in cases of flu and colds. Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to ibuprofen, to another component of the medicine or to non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs generally used for the relief of pain or fever, if you have a history of gastrointestinal bleeding or perforation related to previous treatment with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, if you suffer from peptic ulcer/active bleeding or have a history of recurrent peptic ulcer/bleeding, if you suffer from severe heart failure; if you are asthmatic; if you suffer from blood disorders; if you are in the last trimester of pregnancy.
