Ibuprofen belongs to a group of medicines called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). These medicines provide relief by changing the way the body reacts to pain, swelling and high temperature. Nurofen Xpress 400mg Soft Capsules is used to treat the following conditions:
- Mild to moderate pain
- Headaches
- Toothache
- Menstrual pain
- Fever and pain associated with colds
How to Use
Adults, children and adolescents weighing more than 40 kg (12 years of age or older).
- Initial dose: 1 capsule swallowed whole with a little water, and then, if necessary, 1 capsule every 6 hours. Do not chew. Do not exceed 3 capsules in 24 hours.
- It should not be taken by adolescents weighing less than 40 kg or children under 12 years of age.
- Do not exceed the recommended dose.

Nurofen Xpress 400 mg soft capsules is a non-prescription medicine sold exclusively in pharmacies indicated for the symptomatic treatment of mild to moderate pain, such as headaches, period pain, toothache, and fever and pain associated with constipation. This medicine is indicated for adults and adolescents weighing more than 40 kg (12 years of age and above). Read the information on the pack and the package leaflet carefully. Do not take this medicine if you are hypersensitive to the medicine, any of the excipients or other NSAIDs; if you are in the third trimester of pregnancy. Take special care if you have systemic lupus erythematosus or mixed connective tissue disease; an inherited disorder of blood production or blood clotting problems; bowel disease; high blood pressure and/or heart failure; decreased kidney function; liver problems; asthma or allergic disease; hay fever, nasal polyps or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease; taking other medicines that may increase the risk of ulceration or bleeding; if you have recently had major surgery.
