Nurofen 400mg Coated Tablets contain ibuprofen which has an analgesic, antipyretic and anti-inflammatory action. It is indicated for mild to moderate pain, headaches, migraines, toothaches, menstrual pain, muscle pain, rheumatic pain, back pain, neuralgia, cold and flu symptoms and symptomatic treatment of fever lasting less than 3 days. Its coated tablets are easy to swallow.
How to Use
- Adults: 1 tablet swallowed with a little water, and then, if necessary, 1 tablet every 8 hours. Do not exceed 3 tablets in 24 hours.
- It should not be used in children under 18 years of age without medical advice.
- Do not exceed the recommended dose or duration of treatment (3 days for symptomatic treatment of fever and 7 days for other situations).
Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children. Do not use higher doses than recommended or for more than 3 consecutive days for fever, unless directed by your doctor; Do not use for pain for more than 7 days in adults, unless prescribed by your doctor, as severe and prolonged pain may require medical evaluation and treatment. Nurofen 400 coated tablets (adults) is a non-prescription medicine dispensed exclusively in pharmacies indicated for the symptomatic treatment of mild to moderate pain and fever. Do not take this medicine if you are hypersensitive to the medicine, any excipient or other NSAIDs. Take special care if you have a history of gastrointestinal bleeding or perforation, active peptic ulcer/bleeding, are taking medicines that may increase the risk of ulceration/bleeding, cerebrovascular haemorrhage, high blood pressure, asthma/allergic disease, nasal polyps or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, therapy-related bronchospasm, rhinitis and urticaria, severe liver, kidney or heart failure, blood clotting disorders, problems with blood cell production, significant dehydration, congenital disorder of porphyrin metabolism, chronic alcoholism, systemic lupus erythematosus/mixed connective tissue disease, bowel disease, have recently undergone major surgery, are pregnant or breast-feeding.
