Meritene Clinical Frutta is a food for special medical purposes. It is an incomplete polymeric hypercaloric and fibre-free formula. It is an alternative to the common milky texture of supplements, with a texture and taste similar to fruit juice, to ensure better adherence to treatment. Energy concentration: 1.5 kcal/ml Energy distribution of macronutrients (Lipids/Carbohydrates/Protein): 0/81/19.
One bottle (200ml) of Meritene Clinical Frutta provides:
- 300kcal;
- 61g of carbohydrates;
- 14g of protein.
Clinically lactose-free. Gluten-free. Not suitable as a sole source of nutrition. Recommended for adults. Use under medical supervision.
Nutritional management of patients with malnutrition or at risk of malnutrition and lipid metabolism disorders, in situations such as:
- Low tolerance to oral nutritional supplements with milky textures
- Oncological disease with taste alterations, mucositis (oral inflammation) or dry mouth
- Delayed gastric emptying
- Liver disease and with a low-fat diet and conditions of lipid malabsorption
How to Use
- 1 to 2 packs per day, depending on the patient's nutritional needs and age, according to medical advice.
- Ready to use orally.
- Sterilised. Packed in a protective atmosphere.
- Shake before use.
- It is recommended to drink cold.
- Store in a cool, dry place.
- Once opened, store covered at room temperature for a maximum of 6 hours and up to 24 hours in the refrigerator.
