Canesten Unidia cream with bifonazole is a cutaneous antifungal indicated for the treatment of: athlete's foot, hand mycoses, pityriasis versicolor (beach mycosis) and treatment of the exposed nail bed after keratolytic removal.
- It has a triple action: antifungal, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory, providing rapid relief from symptoms such as itching and burning.
How to Use
Cutaneous use. Apply a sufficient amount of cream to completely cover the affected area. To treat an area corresponding to the palm of the hand, a strip of cream (1 cm long) is usually sufficient. Canesten Unidia® cream should be applied once a day, preferably at night, to the area to be treated, in a thin layer, rubbing in lightly.
To achieve a lasting cure, treatment with Canesten Unidia® cream must be carried out properly and for the treatment periods indicated (by your doctor), which are normally the following:
Athlete's hand and foot mycoses: 3 weeks
Pityriasis versicolor: 2 weeks
Treatment of exposed nail bed after keratolytic removal : 4 weeks
Do not use larger amounts of Canesten Unidia® cream to make up for a forgotten dose.
It is also recommended:
1. Before applying the cream, wash and dry the affected area thoroughly.
2. Close the tube tightly after use.
3. Wash your hands thoroughly after each application.
Canesten Unidia® cream can be used by young people and adults. In infants and young children, Canesten Unidia® cream should only be used under medical supervision.
