How to Use

• Children between 4-12 years: 7.5 ml every 3 to 4 hours (4 to 6 times a day)
• Adults and adolescents over 12 years old: 15ml every 3 to 4 hours (4 to 6 times a day)

Bronchodual® 0.12 g + 0.83 g Oral Solution / Bronchodual® Nex t 51.1 mg + 4.5 mg, soft tablets. Qualitative and quantitative composition: 15 ml (= 16.7 g) contains: 0.12 g dry extract of thyme; 0.83 g liquid extract of marshmallow root; Excipients with known effect: 12.2 mg Methyl-4-hydroxybenzoate and 6.8 mg Propyl-4-hydroxybenzoate. / 1 ​​soft tablet contains: 51.1 mg dry extract of thyme and 4.5 mg dry extract of marshmallow root; Excipients with known effect: 210 mg sorbitol (E420), 615 mg maltitol. Pharmaceutical form: Red-brown, viscous oral solution with the smell and taste of thyme and raspberry. / Round, brown, soft lozenges to suck with a fruity flavour. Therapeutic indications: The oral solution is used to calm and soothe the reflexes of dry cough and promote the expectoration of viscous mucus in coughs associated with colds. The lozenges are used to promote the expectoration of viscous mucus and relief in productive coughs associated with colds, relief of dry coughs and for relief of sore throats. These medicines are traditional herbal medicines for use in the specified indications and based exclusively on long-term use. Dosage and method of administration: Oral solution: Adults and adolescents over 12 years: 15 ml every 3 to 4 hours, 4 times a day; maximum daily dose of 90 ml. Children between 4 and 12 years: 7.5 ml every 3 to 4 hours, 4 times a day. If necessary, up to 6 times a day; maximum daily dose of 45 ml. Use in children under 4 years is not recommended. Method of administration: Solution for oral administration, undiluted, using the measuring cup provided in the package. If necessary, it can be administered diluted in water or hot tea. Soft tablets: Dosage: Adults and adolescents over 12 years: 1 - 2 tablets every 4 h, 4 - 6 times / day. If necessary, a maximum of 12 tablets / day can be taken. Children between 6 - 12 years: 1 tablet every 3 - 4 h (4 - 6 times / day). Children under 6 years: Use is not recommended. Method of administration: Buccal route (let the tablet dissolve in the mouth, sucking it). Duration of administration: Self-medication should be limited to a period of 5 days. If there has been no significant improvement by then, the patient should be advised to consult a doctor, as a more serious underlying disease may be present. Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to other members of the Lamiaceae family, or to any of the excipients. Undesirable effects: Hypersensitivity reactions and gastric disorders have been observed in connection with medicinal products containing thyme. The frequency is unknown. Special warnings and precautions for use: Consult a doctor if dyspnoea, fever or purulent sputum occurs. For oral solution only: The preservatives methyl-4-hydroxybenzoate and propyl-4-hydroxybenzoate may cause allergic reactions, possibly delayed. For lozenges only: contains fructose and sorbitol.
