It is a non-prescription medicine, whose active ingredient is pentosan polysulfate sodium. It is indicated for varicose veins, strokes, hematomas and bruises. How to Use
Apply the gel in a thin layer to the affected area, once or several times a day. There is no need to rub it in. Do not apply the gel to exposed wounds.
Thrombocid® gel is indicated for the treatment of mild to moderate muscle pain, contusions and post-traumatic pain; as a topical adjuvant therapy for varicose veins and for the treatment of complications of treatment with injectables (superficial thrombophlebitis, effusions/hematomas). Thrombocid® gel should only be applied to intact skin. This medicine is not subject to prescription.
