Nasorhinathiol is indicated for the symptomatic relief of nasal congestion in cases of rhinorrhea associated with flu and colds. It is indicated for adults and children aged 6 and over. The active substance in Nasorhinathiol, oxymetazoline, reduces nasal blood flow and congestion by constricting dilated arterioles. It has an onset of action of approximately 10 minutes and a duration of action of up to 12 hours.
How to Use
- The recommended dosage for adults is 1 or 2 sprays in each nostril every 12 hours. It is recommended to apply one spray in the morning and one spray in the evening. Never exceed two sprays in 24 hours.
- For children over 6 years of age, the recommended dose is the same as for adults. One application in the morning and one in the evening is recommended. Never exceed two applications in 24 hours.
- The duration of treatment should not exceed three days.
NASORHINATHIOL 0.5 mg/ml nasal drops, solution. Oxymetazoline hydrochloride. 0.5 mg/ml is indicated for the symptomatic relief of nasal congestion in cases of rhinorrhea associated with flu-like conditions and colds. Dosage and Administration: Adults and Children >6 years: Instill (nasal drops): 2 or 3 drops in each nostril every 12 hours. Nebulizer: 1 or 2 nebulizations in each nostril every 12 hours. It is recommended to apply one application in the morning and the other at night. Never exceed two applications in 24 hours. The duration of treatment should not exceed three days. In the case of the elderly, the duration of treatment should not exceed three days without medical supervision due to the risk of causing edema and persistent nasal redness. If undesirable symptoms appear, treatment should be discontinued and a doctor should be consulted. Before administering the product, the nose should be cleaned. After administering the product, you should wait a few minutes before cleaning your nose again. Do not share the bottle with another person.
