Verrufilm Solution 10 ml

Verrufilm® is a cutaneous solution for external use that contains salicylic acid as an active substance. Verrufilm® is indicated for all types of warts, commonly known as "cravos," such as common warts, flat warts, juvenile warts, and plantar warts (papillomas). Verrufilm® is also indicated for corns and calluses of the skin.

How to Use

Do not use Verrufilm if you are allergic to salicylic acid or any other component of the medicine, if you are diabetic or have circulatory disorders, in children under 2 years of age, on warts on the face, hairy warts, or anogenital warts, on skin spots or congenital moles.

Verrufilm is for external use only. The bottle has an applicator attached to the cap, which on the one hand allows for small drops to be dispensed and on the other hand ensures extremely easy and precise application.

Before application, immerse the affected area in warm water for about 5 minutes and clean with a towel. Apply Verrufilm exclusively to the center of the affected area, taking care that the product does not come into contact with the surrounding healthy skin (if necessary, you can apply some rich cream to the skin around the area to be treated, thus protecting it from eventual contact with the product).

• Apply 1 or 2 drops to the affected area and let it air dry for a few minutes until a flexible film forms.
• Then, cover the treated area with adhesive tape and leave it on for 24 hours, avoiding contact with water.
• After 24 hours, remove the adhesive, wash with warm water to remove the Verrufilm film, and then carefully scrape the treated area with a skin abrasive (pumice stone or skin file).
• Repeat the treatment every day until the wart or callus completely disappears, which in the case of warts, may take a relatively long period of time (6 to 12 weeks). However, if the skin becomes irritated, suspend the application for two or three days until the inflammation subsides.
