Imodium Duoeffect 2mg + 125mg 12 tablets

IMODIUM® Duoeffect tablets not only provide relief from diarrhoea but also soothe symptoms of stomach cramps, uncomfortable abdominal distension, and gas. IMODIUM® Duoeffect works with your body to restore natural digestive balance. It can reduce diarrhoea after the first dose*.

Designed to relieve acute, short-term episodes of diarrhoea, the tablets contain an additional substance called simethicone, which helps to reduce excess gas in the intestine and relieve cramps.

Treatment with IMODIUM® Duoeffect is only symptomatic. If any aetiology is determined, appropriate treatment should be administered. In the absence of clinical improvement within 48 hours, administration should be discontinued. Patients should be advised to consult their doctor.

How to Use

Adults over 18 years of age:

• Initially take two tablets, followed by one tablet after each diarrhoeal bowel movement.
• No more than 4 tablets should be taken per day, and treatment should be limited to a maximum of 2 days.

Adolescents between 12 and 18 years of age:

• Initially take one tablet, followed by one tablet after each diarrhoeal bowel movement. No more than 4 tablets should be taken per day, and treatment should be limited to a maximum of 2 days.
