Allergodil eye drops are a treatment indicated for allergies that contain the antihistamine azelastine. It is indicated for the treatment and prevention of seasonal and perennial (i.e. year-round) ocular symptoms of allergic conjunctivitis and is applied directly to the eyes, maximizing its effect and minimizing side effects.
How to Use
It can be applied just twice a day, which can be increased to 4 times a day for people with more uncomfortable symptoms.
Allergodil eye drops start working within 3 minutes of application. Its fast action means that you can apply Allergodil eye drops as soon as you feel the first eye symptoms and know that they will start working quickly. They also last for up to 10 hours. You can apply Allergodil eye drops first thing in the morning, as they will continue to work throughout the day to reduce symptoms. You can also apply them again in the early evening, so that symptoms do not bother you during the night.
Allergodil eye drops are indicated for the treatment of ocular allergy symptoms in children (> 4 years of age, in the case of seasonal allergy symptoms, and >12 years of age, in the case of perennial allergy symptoms (all year round)), with good levels of efficacy.
Non-prescription medicinal product. * Onset of action in 15 minutes ( nasal spray or nasal spray solution) or 3 minutes (eye drops). Allergodil 1 mg/ml nasal spray solution and Allergodil 0.5 mg/ml eye drops, solution are non-prescription medicinal products that contain azelastine as the active substance. Allergodil 1 mg/ml nasal spray solution is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of seasonal allergic rhinitis (including hay fever symptoms) and perennial allergic rhinitis in adults and children aged 6 years and over. Allergodil 0.5 mg/ml eye drops, solution is indicated for the treatment and prevention of the symptoms of seasonal allergic conjunctivitis in adults and children aged 4 years and over and for the treatment of the symptoms of perennial allergic conjunctivitis in adults and children aged 12 years and over. Allergodil 1 mg/ml nasal spray solution should not be used in children under 6 years of age. Allergodil 0.5 mg/ml eye drops, solution is not intended for the treatment of eye infections. Contains benzalkonium chloride which may cause eye irritation. Avoid contact with soft contact lenses. Remove them before application and wait 15 minutes before replacing them.
