MERITENE Clinical EXTRA PROTEIN is a supplement for the nutritional management of patients with increased energy and protein needs and with pathologies that lead to malnutrition or risk of malnutrition, namely:
- Severe unintentional weight loss (≥5% weight loss in 1 or 2 months)
- Pathologies with high nutritional impact (cancer, dementia, Parkinson's, COPD*, neurodegenerative diseases, among others)
- Patients undergoing treatments (chemotherapy and radiotherapy) and surgeries
It is a formula with a high concentration of calories (420kcal/bottle) and protein (32g/bottle). 1 bottle of MERITENE Clinical EXTRA PROTEIN is equivalent to 2 bottles of a traditional oral nutritional supplement. In a volume of 200ml it provides the equivalent of 400ml.
How to Use
- As a supplement, take 1 packet/day, if necessary take 2 packets/day.
- It is recommended to take it cold
- Store in a cool, dry place
- Once opened, store covered at room temperature for a maximum of 6 hours and up to 24 hours in the refrigerator.
