Voltaren Emulgel 10 mg/g, Gel, is indicated for the relief of mild to moderate muscular pain and post-traumatic pain. Voltaren Emulgel is specially formulated to be spread over the affected areas of the skin. The active substance, diclofenac, belongs to a group of medicines called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. It is used to relieve pain and reduce inflammation and swelling in numerous painful conditions affecting the ligaments and muscles.
Symptomatic treatment (relief of pain, inflammation and swelling) of:
- Mild to moderate muscle pain - Adults and adolescents from 14 years of age.
- Post-traumatic inflammation of tendons, ligaments, muscles and joints (sprains, dislocations and bruises) - Adults and adolescents from 14 years of age.
- Localized forms of degenerative rheumatism: osteoarthritis of peripheral joints and spine. Adults aged 18 and over.
How to Use
Voltaren Emulgel should only be applied to intact, healthy skin surfaces and not to skin with wounds or lesions.
Adults and adolescents from 14 years of age: Apply Voltaren Emulgel 3 or 4 times a day to the painful area. Gently apply a small amount of Voltaren Emulgel to the area of pain or swelling. You will feel a cooling effect when you massage the gel in. Wash your hands after applying Voltaren Emulgel, unless they are the area to be treated.
Non-prescription medicine. Voltaren Emulgel and Voltaren Emulgelex. Medicines containing diclofenac Indicated from 14 years of age, for symptomatic treatment of mild to moderate muscle pain, post-traumatic inflammation of tendons, ligaments, muscles and joints (sprains, dislocations and bruises; and from 18 years of age in localized forms of degenerative rheumatism: osteoarthritis of peripheral joints and spine.
