Nurofen Strawberry 20 mg/ml Oral Suspension provides relief by changing the way the body reacts to high temperature, pain and swelling. Nurofen Strawberry 20 mg/ml Oral Suspension contains the active substance ibuprofen, which belongs to a group of medicines called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). It acts on the site of origin of the fever and pain. Nurofen Strawberry 20 mg/ml Oral Suspension has been specially formulated for babies and children over 3 months of age. Sugar-free and with a pleasant strawberry flavour, it is administered orally for the symptomatic treatment of:
- Mild to moderate pain
- Fever
How to Use
For babies and children over 3 months old.
Usual dose for pain and fever relief:
- Children aged 3 to 6 months (5-7.6 kg) >> one dose of 2.5 ml, 3 times/day
- Children aged 6 to 12 months (7.7-9 kg) >> one dose of 2.5 ml, 3 to 4 times/day
- Children aged 1 to 3 years (10-15 kg) >> one dose of 5 ml, 3 times/day
- Children aged 4 to 6 years (16-20 kg) >> one dose of 7.5 ml (5 ml + 2.5 ml), 3 times/day
- Children aged 7 to 9 years (21-29 kg) >> two 5 ml doses, 3 times/day
- Children aged 10 to 12 years (30-40 kg) >>three doses of 5 ml, 3 times/day
- Do not exceed the recommended dose. Nurofen is a white, strawberry-flavoured oral suspension.

Nurofen Strawberry 20 mg/ml oral suspension is a non-prescription medicine indicated for the symptomatic treatment of mild to moderate pain and fever in children aged 3 months to 12 years. Do not take if you have and/or have ever had an allergy to ibuprofen or its excipients, ASA or other NSAIDs, disorders in the production of blood cells, cerebrovascular bleeding or other active bleeding, peptic ulcer/bleeding, gastrointestinal bleeding or perforation when taking NSAIDs, severe heart, kidney or liver failure, severe dehydration or if you are in the last 3 months of pregnancy.
