Nurofen Musc 200mg Medicated Plaster is an innovative, effective, convenient and safe solution that will help treat local pain. The first medicated plaster with local release of 200mg of ibuprofen for 24 hours. Flexible and moldable, adapting to the contours of the body, including knees and joints. Indicated for the short-term symptomatic treatment of local pain in acute muscle strains or sprains in benign traumatic injuries near the joints of the upper or lower limbs.

How to Use

Adults and adolescents from 16 years of age: 1 application per day.

• One dose is equivalent to one medicated patch. The maximum dose is one medicated patch over a single 24-hour period.
• Discreetly colored medicated plaster, consisting of a self-adhesive layer on a 10 cm by 14 cm flexible fabric support, with a release liner.
• For cutaneous use on intact skin (without cuts or wounds). It is recommended to thoroughly wash and dry the area to be treated before applying the plaster. The plaster can be applied at any time of the day or night, but it should be removed and a new plaster applied at the same time the following day.
• The patch is divided into 3 separate sections (ABC) that must be removed one by one to facilitate application. The central section (A) is the first to be removed and applied to the painful area.
• The plaster is flexible and moldable and, if necessary, can be applied to or near the joint and allows normal movement.
• Do not exceed the recommended dose.
• Do not use this medicine in children or adolescents under 16 years of age.​

Nurofen Musc 200 mg medicated plaster is a non-prescription medicine indicated for the short-term symptomatic treatment of local pain in acute muscle strains or sprains in benign traumatic injuries near the joints of the upper or lower limbs, in adults and adolescents aged 16 years and over. Read the information on the pack and in the package leaflet carefully. Take special care if you are hypersensitive to the medicine, in patients who have previously had hypersensitivity reactions in response to ibuprofen, acetylsalicylic acid or other NSAIDs and in the third trimester of pregnancy.
