Bepanthene® Ointment contains 5% dexpanthenol (provitamin B5) which promotes healing and regeneration of damaged skin. It has a high fat content formulation, recommended when it is desirable to have a protective barrier on the skin surface. It is indicated for the treatment of:
- Cracks, for example: feet, heels, hands and fingers
- Cracked nipple during breastfeeding
- Skin lesions, such as chafing between the legs and chafing in skin folds (e.g. in athletes)
- Chronic and pressure ulcers
- Diaper rash
- Maceration caused by diapers
- Recent scars
How to Use
Apply once or several times a day as needed.
Breastfeeding mothers : apply to the nipples after each feed. It is not necessary to remove (the residue) before the next feed.
Bepanthene® Ointment with dexpanthenol. For the prevention and treatment of nappy rash and cracked nipples, dry, rough or chapped skin and healing of skin lesions and irritations (recent scars, burns, ulcers and skin grafts).
