Pursennide 20 mg, 20 tablets, stimulates the intestine over the course of 6 to 12 hours. Pursennide belongs to a group of medicines called laxatives, used in the treatment of constipation.
This product contains lactose. If you have a known lactose intolerance, please inform your doctor or pharmacist. This product also contains glucose and sucrose.
How to Use
Chronic constipation should be treated with a diet rich in fiber (fruits, vegetables, cereals) and a sufficient intake of liquids, as well as regular physical activity. The indiscriminate use of laxatives for long periods without medical advice can lead to addiction. The minimum effective dose should be used to restore normal bowel function.
The correct dose of Pursennide is the lowest number of tablets required to restore normal bowel function. Do not increase the dose if bowel function is satisfactory, nor exceed the maximum recommended dose.
Take the tablets once a day, with a glass of water, at night before going to bed.
- Adults: 2-4 tablets.
- Children over 12 years: 1- 2 tablets.
