Phillips Milk of Magnesia 200 ml

Phillips Milk of Magnesia 83 mg/ml Oral Suspension 200 ml, is indicated in the treatment of constipation, in the treatment of situations resulting from gastroesophageal reflux and hyperacidity such as: heartburn, bloating and indigestion.

Oral suspension with a pleasant peppermint flavor.

How to Use

Administer orally. Shake well before use. Use a 5 ml spoon or the measuring cap of the container. Dosage can be taken with milk or water.

The usual dose is:

As an Antacid:

• Adults: 5-10 ml (one or two 5 ml spoonfuls or the measuring cap filled to the first or second line). If necessary, the dose can be repeated up to a maximum of 60 ml in 24 hours.
• Children aged 3-12 years: 5 ml (one full spoon or the measuring cap filled to the first line). If necessary, the dose can be repeated up to a maximum of 30 ml in 24 hours.

As a Laxative:

• Adults: 30-45 ml at bedtime. Repeat the treatment every night, reducing the dose until constipation ceases.
• Children over 3 years: 5-10 ml at bedtime. Children under 3 years: As per medical advice.
