FLUIMUCIL 2% Oral Solution (20 mg/ml) with raspberry aroma contains the active substance Acetylcysteine, an agent that “breaks” mucus through its mucolytic action, reducing the viscosity of the mucus and fluidizing it to facilitate its removal.

How to Use
Fluimucil 2% is administered orally.
The recommended dose is:
Dosage for adults and children aged 12 and over:
- 10 ml oral solution (200 mg) 3 times a day.
Dosage in children:
- Children between 6 and 12 years: 5 ml of oral solution (100 mg) 3 times a day.
- Children up to 6 years old: 5 ml of oral solution (100 mg) 2 or 3 times a day, as determined by the doctor.

Fluimucil 2% oral solution contains 20mg/ml of acetylcysteine; Fluimucil 4% oral solution contains 40mg/ml of acetylcysteine, Fluimucil 600mg effervescent tablets contain 600mg of acetylcysteine per effervescent tablet, Fluimucil 200mg granules for oral solution contain 200mg of acetylcysteine per sachet. Fluimucil is indicated as a mucolytic adjuvant in the treatment of respiratory problems associated with hypersecretion of thick, viscous mucus. Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients. Acetylcysteine, like all substances with mucolytic action, is contraindicated in children under 2 years of age. There are no contraindications in the treatment of paracetamol overdoses with acetylcysteine. Fluimucil 600 mg effervescent tablets and Fluimucil 200 mg Granules for oral solution, as they contain aspartame as an excipient, are contraindicated in patients with phenylketonuria. Precautions: Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking Fluimucil if you are asthmatic or have shortness of breath, if you suffer from severe respiratory failure, if you are weak and cannot cough, if you suffer from gastroduodenal problems (stomach, intestine), if you have histamine intolerance. Children: like all substances with mucolytic action, acetylcysteine is contraindicated in children under 2 years of age.
