Buscopan 10 mg Tablets

Buscopan® acts directly where the pain and spasms occur, begins to take effect 15 minutes after taking and is well tolerated. It is recommended for the relief of stomach pain, spasms or abdominal discomfort caused by stress, for example. It is gentle on the stomach and has little absorption into the bloodstream, and has a low incidence of adverse effects.

How to Use

The usual dose of Buscopan for adults and children over 6 years of age is as follows: 1 to 2 tablets (10 to 20 mg), 3 to 5 times a day. If you do not feel better or if you feel worse after 3 days, you must consult a doctor.

Buscopan (butylscopolamine) for the relief of abdominal pain or discomfort associated with transient and moderate spasms of the gastrointestinal tract. Consult your doctor before taking Buscopan during pregnancy and breastfeeding, if you have heart disease, glaucoma, prostatism, susceptibility to intestinal or urinary obstruction, diarrhoea, unexplained weight loss, severe and sudden pain, of greater intensity than normal or progressive or if the symptoms of abdominal pain associated with colic are different from usual.
