A gel wash is indicated for the cutaneous treatment of mild to moderate acne where there are pimples and whiteheads or blackheads. It can be applied to the face, chest and back. With benzoyl peroxide, this product unclogs follicles, smoothing and exfoliating the skin's surface and reducing inflammation. Its Acrylates Copolymer technology absorbs excess sebum from the skin's surface and maintains its hydration.

  • Benzac® Wash 50 mg/g gel may be more convenient for treating acne in larger areas (e.g., chest, back) and on bearded faces.
How to Use
  • Apply 1 or 2 times a day, as tolerated.
  • Wet the skin area to be treated.
  • Apply Benzac® Wash 50 mg/g gel to the acne-affected skin area, gently massaging for about 3 minutes.
  • Rinse thoroughly with water and pat the skin dry with a soft towel.
  • Precautions: may bleach hair and coloured fabrics. Avoid using products that are irritating, drying or exfoliating during treatment with Benzac®. Benzac® gel and Benzac® Wash should not be used on the same areas simultaneously (i.e., at the same time of day, one after the other), as this may contribute to greater fragility of the skin barrier and intense skin irritation.
